JALA is taking an important step with the opening of a new office in Surabaya, officially inaugurated on November 17, 2025. Located at Spazio Building, 2nd floor, unit 222, Surabaya, East Java, this office aims to strengthen JALA’s operations in a strategic region that enables smoother domestic and international connectivity.
The inauguration ceremony, marked by a traditional tumpeng cutting led by JALA’s Chairman, Aryo Wiryawan, and CEO, Liris Maduningtyas, was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Beyond being a symbolic milestone for the launch of the new office, the event also served as an opportunity for JALA to directly connect and engage in conversations with attending partners.
Although simple, the event carried meaningful intentions. It began with an introduction to the purpose behind establishing JALA’s Surabaya office to be closer to shrimp farmers, partners, and supply chain networks that predominantly operate in this region. With this new office, JALA hopes to accelerate collaboration, strengthen communication, and provide more responsive operational support in the field.
Several partners also joined an office tour to see the facilities and working environment firsthand. Through this visit, JALA aimed to demonstrate its commitment to creating a comfortable and collaborative workspace that supports the evolving needs of the shrimp industry.
Designed with the same atmosphere as JALA’s head office in Yogyakarta, Surabaya office embraces a collaborative approach, reflected in its open space working area. A Meeting Room is available to accommodate up to 8 people, supporting team discussions and joint planning, while the Executive Room is designated for the management team.
Surabaya office is also equipped with a Display Room for conversations with visiting guests or external partners. Next to it is a Waiting Area, serving as a relaxing space for employees or visitors.
This new office marks an important step for JALA in expanding its reach and strengthening support for Indonesia’s shrimp industry. Its presence is expected to bring renewed energy to Warga JALA team and provide a closer look at how JALA continues to grow and innovate.
