JALA is looking for Product Design Inter who will be responsible to design intuitive wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes, conduct user research and usability testing in the aquaculture domain, create accessible and responsive UI, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to iterate on designs based on feedback and data.
Roles & Responsibilities
Create intuitive wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes for web and desktop applications.
Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points in the aquaculture domain.
Design clean, accessible, and responsive user interfaces (UI) that adhere to modern web/desktop design standards and design systems.
Collaborate closely with product managers and software engineers to ensure design feasibility, smooth handoff, and quality implementation.
Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, technical constraints, and data-driven insights.
Skills & Capabilities
Available for a full-time internship for a minimum duration of 3 months.
Strong foundational understanding of UX principles, UI design, and design systems for desktop or web platforms.
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma (a portfolio showcasing web or desktop projects is required).
Sharp attention to visual detail, typography, grid layouts, and interactive elements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present design decisions and articulate design rationale to cross-functional teams.
A strong drive and passion to contribute to the Aquaculture industry.
