Legacy Challenge is a program in JALA App that encourages shrimp farmers to collect points by recording their cultivation activities. Consistently recording operational data helps farmers gain a clearer understanding of pond conditions, from shrimp growth performance and water quality changes to the effectiveness of treatments applied during the culture cycle. Comprehensive records also make it easier to trace potential causes when problems occur in the pond, allowing farmers to respond more quickly and implement appropriate solutions. When a culture cycle runs successfully, historical data can serve as a valuable reference for replicating effective strategies in future cycles.
Recognizing the importance of data in aquaculture management, JALA introduces Legacy Challenge, a program designed to build consistent data recording while rewarding JALA App users who actively document their cultivation activities.
What Is Legacy Challenge?
Legacy Challenge is a program for JALA App users to earn points through various pond management and data-recording activities. Each activity completed in the app generates points. The more points you collect, the greater your chance of winning exciting rewards. The program runs until December 2026, and you can participate every day by actively performing activities in your JALA App account.
Here are some activities in JALA App that can earn you points:
- Log Today’s Feed: 15 points.
- Use the Cultivation Calculator: 15 points.
- Use Cultivation Charts: 12 point.
- Use Water Quality Charts: 12 points.
- View Biomass Prediction Details: 12 points.
- Record Water Quality: 10 points.
- Check Shrimp Prices: 10 points.
- Read Shrimp News (blog article): 10 points.
- Read the Help Center: 10 points.
- Monitor Pond Menu: 8 points.
- Record Feed Tray: 7 points.
How to Join Legacy Challenge
Make sure you already have an account on JALA App, available on both mobile and web. Anyone can use it for free!
- Click JALA POINTS in the bottom right corner of JALA App mobile homepage, or Legacy Challenge at the top of the web homepage.
- Complete Daily Tasks to earn points.
- Collect Badges & Achievements from each completed activity.
- Track your points in the Point History menu.
- View Leaderboard to see your ranking and chances of winning the main prize.
- View Vouchers to redeem rewards using your points.
- Keep collecting points until the end of the program period for a chance to win the grand prizes.

Total points will be calculated at the end of the program period to determine the winners, you can track your ranking through the Leaderboard menu. Here are the grand prizes available:
- Rank 1-2: Umrah package.
- Rank 3-4: Honda BeAt motorcycle.
- Rank 5-8: Smart TV 32 inch.
- Rank 9-18: 4G LTE Modem Wireless.
Muslim winners may choose the umrah package, while non-muslim winners will receive a motorcycle of equivalent value.
Instant rewards by redeeming points
In addition to the grand prizes, you can also claim quarterly rewards by redeeming points for vouchers in JALA App, including:.
- 1-month JALA App Plus voucher.
- 4-month JALA App Plus voucher.
- 1-month JALA Pro Cycle voucher.
Redeeming points for vouchers will not reduce your total points on the leaderboard. However, each redemption period has a limited quota, and each user can only redeem each type of reward once.

Points can be redeemed directly through JALA POINTS or Legacy Challenge page in JALA App.
- Quarter 1-3: March, June, and September 2026 (15th–30th/31st of each month).
- Quarter 4: December 15–25, 2026.
Grand prizes claim period
- During Shrimp Outlook 2027 (schedule will be announced separately).
- At the end of the program, winners will see a “Claim Prize” button on the leaderboard page if they qualify.
Terms and Conditions
- Rankings are determined solely based on accumulated points.
- Rewards redeemed through points can be used according to the selected type and are non-transferable.
- Prizes received cannot be exchanged for cash.
- JALA reserves the right to verify winner data before prizes are distributed.
