Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the company representative throughout the project, including communicating with farmers and the local government.
  2. Responsible for ensuring the success of the company's project on site.
  3. Analyze village potential and develop a community development plan based on local resources.
  4. Implement, assist, and monitor the Proof of Concept (POC) Farm Upgrade process, including coordinating pond renovations, implementing cultivation SOPs, and monitoring productivity.
  5. Coordinate with the village government, farmer/fisherman groups, and local partners.
  6. Evaluate and provide input to the project manager on the direction of the project.
  7. Collect field data, document activities, and prepare project progress reports to be submitted to the Project Manager and Compliance Manager.
Skills & Capabilities
  1. Domiciled in or willing to be placed in Lalombi, Central Sulawesi.
  2. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Social Affairs, Community Development, or a related field.
  3. Minimum of two years' experience as a Community Development Officer or in a similar position, preferably with experience working in Sulawesi or coastal areas.
  4. Strong communication and engagement skills with village communities.
  5. Familiarity with data collection and reporting, and proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and field documentation tools (cameras, survey forms, etc.).
  6. Familiarity with collaborative and participatory community development.
  7. Experience facilitating community groups in capacity building.
  8. Skilled in field data collection, activity documentation, and project progress report preparation.
  9. Experience mentoring coastal communities, fishermen, or fish farmers is a plus.
  10. Understanding of the aquaculture industry or similar sectors is a plus.
