As a Plant Manager, you will lead the operations of a shrimp processing plant, overseeing the Production, QA/QC, and Warehouse teams. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, comply with quality and food safety standards, and support the achievement of the company’s business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the Production, QA & QC, and Warehouse teams.
Collaborate with the Production Manager in developing production plans.
Supervise and ensure production processes are carried out according to work plans, production costs, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Ensure all production machinery and equipment operate optimally.
Ensure production reports are accurate, real-time, and aligned with production plans.
Coordinate and monitor the procurement of goods required for production and mini-plant operations.
Coordinate and monitor the fulfillment of production workforce needs.
Skills & Capabilities
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Fisheries Processing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in factory production/operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Prior experience in seafood processing or frozen food manufacturing is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality management, supply chain, and machinery operations.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 certifications are a plus.
