Jagoan Tambak is an assistance program for farmer groups as a whole, not limited to pond owners, but also technicians, technical sales, pond crews, and everyone who works in ponds to be able to access digital technology from JALA, namely the JALA App. Jagoan Tambak Program aims to enable shrimp farmers to read cultivation data and analyze cultivation performance so as to create efficiency and successfully implement sustainable cultivation.

This program consists of a number of activities, such as assistance with cultivation recording as well as online and offline discussions with cultivation experts. Additionally, Jagoan Tambak will be able to gain insightful knowledge from Diskusi Bersama Jalina, a regular online discussion about cultivation methods with experienced cultivation practitioners in a WhatsApp group. This group is divided based on locations, and so far it has covered Central Java, East Java, Sumatera, and Sulawesi.

Up until now, hundreds of farmers from various regions in Indonesia have joined to become the Jagoan Tambak. They started using JALA App to record and monitor their daily cultivation conditions. "The Jagoan Tambak program motivates and can become a partner for us, shrimp farmers," said Afif, a pond technician in Purworejo who has gained the benefits of the Jagoan Tambak.

To expand the reach of Jagoan Tambak, JALA has been actively conducting cultivation discussions with practitioners as well as raising awareness about the program. Hundreds of small-scale farmers in the areas visited, including Kebumen, Lampung, Bantul and Kulon Progo, participated in this discussion and socialization with great enthusiasm.

The Jagoan Tambak program, which provides cultivation insights for farmers and encourages the use of technology for cultivation, becomes one of the activities aimed to increase shrimp production. By using JALA technology, farmers can manage their cultivation efficiently and accurately on the go. In the end, farmers are expected to reach their full potential through this program.
