JALA is delighted to share that we have been invited to be part of the TECH PLANTER event organized by Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Founder & Group CEO Dr. Yukihiro Maru), a company that provides education in science and technology, HR development, start-ups planning, and consultation services. This event was held on June 5-8 2023 at Hiroshima, Japan.
As Asia's largest real tech seed acceleration program, TECH PLANTER was held with the aim of exploring deep tech and solving deep issues in Southeast Asia. Together with Hiroshima's local government, TECH PLANTER scouts SMEs (Small to Medium-sized Enterprises) from the Hiroshima prefecture currently developing science and technology to help them grow as a business, as well as build networking of real-tech startups on a global scale. One of the initiatives is inviting JALA along with 2 other SEA startups to form a collaboration and gain wider access into the Southeast Asian market.
During this event, JALA is honored to deliver presentations along with two other Southeast Asian tech companies: TRIA, a Singaporean company which focuses on food waste, recycling, and upcycling, along with Robopreneur Sdn. Bhd. from Malaysia, which focuses on maintenance of infrastructure, plants, and facilities. JALA is represented by Raynalfie Budhy Rahardjo (VP of Farm & Sustainability) and Hanry Ario Prestianto (VP of Trade) to share about the complexities of control systems and data in the aquaculture industry.
This event has broadened JALA’s network with Southeast Asian startups passionate about solving deep technology issues. JALA is grateful to Leave a Nest for granting us the opportunity to have attended this event. We are excited for future developments as we strive to bring blue revolution across the shrimp industry.
