Sales Manager - Downstream

JALA is looking for a Sales Manager who will plan and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. The Sales Manager will also identify and target prospective clients within the aquaculture and seafood industry. The candidate must have a proven track record of successful sales management.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify and target prospective clients within the aquaculture and seafood industry
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the unique value proposition of our products
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
  • Conduct market research to get the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
  • Analyze customer needs and market demands to tailor sales strategies accordingly
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the products, including production processes and quality standards
  • Provide technical information and support to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns
Skills & Capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable university majoring in any major
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a related field, preferably similar industries
  • Proven track record of successful sales management
  • Strong leadership and people performance management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly adaptable to changing business requirements, team structures and job activities
  • Good analytical thinking and strong problem solving skills
  • Strong understanding of aquaculture practices, shrimp farming, and seafood supply chain is a plus
  • Ability to travel as required
