JALA is looking for a Asset Recovery Project Staff who will handle special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment. The candidate must have proven experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role for credit and asset management.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment
Follow up on any audit related to special asset recovery management
Review the effectiveness and policies of asset recovery processes
Execute all asset recovery logistics with applicable external service providers (e.g. repossession companies, bailiffs, external legal counsel, auctioneers) within budget and effectively troubleshoot unforeseen issues/problems that may arise
Engage with guarantors to negotiate reasonable settlements on post-recovery shortfall amounts and/or collaborate with legal/external counsel in executing the legal strategy of asserting and enforcing legal claims
Skills & Capabilities
Proven experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role for credit and asset management
Asset recovery/insolvency background
Having knowledge of legal and financial processes
Solid understanding of compliance issues and proficiency in risk analysis
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
