Job Descriptions
JALA is looking for a Sales Support Export Admin who will prepare, review, and process export documentation, ensuring that all export documentation complies with the regulations of destination countries. The candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, especially from FMCG/frozen products industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and process export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, health certificates, etc.).
  • Ensure that all export documentation complies with the regulations of destination countries.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers to book shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure smooth delivery and address any issues that arise during transit.
  • Stay up-to-date with export regulations, including customs, tax, and import restrictions in various countries.
  • Apply and verify HS Codes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for shipping seafood, including food safety regulations.
  • Communicate with international customers regarding order status, shipping details, and documentation requirements.
  • Resolve any issues related to export documentation and shipment delays.
  • Work with the sales and operations teams to ensure that all export orders are processed and shipped according to customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports on shipment status, export volumes, and logistics performance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain and update records as well as generate and submit monthly export reports.
Skills & Capabilities
  • Minimum Diploma degree.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Min. 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, especially from FMCG/frozen products/Horeca industry.
  • Willingness to stay updated with export regulations and import restrictions in various countries.
  • Honest, diligent, fast learning, and adaptable.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Willing to be placed in Yogyakarta/Jakarta.
