JALA is looking for a Sales Development Representative Intern who will identify and research potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, company websites, and industry events. The candidate must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, company websites, and industry events
  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients via email, phone calls, and social media to generate interest in our products/services
  • Assess the needs of potential clients and qualify them as appropriate leads for the sales team
  • Schedule meetings and calls between potential clients and sales representatives
  • Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement outreach strategies
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to enhance sales efforts
  • Provide feedback from potential clients to improve marketing and sales efforts and report on outreach results
Skills & Capabilities
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • An interest in pursuing a career in sales or business development
