Where can it be used?
JALA App can be used on a PC/laptop/tab by accessing app.jala.tech via a browser and smartphone by downloading the JALA - Shrimp Farm Management application on the Google Play Store and App Store.
How to create a farm?

Follow these steps to create a farm:

  1. On Home, select + New Farm
  2. Fill in the farm information completely
  3. Fill in the pond information completely
  4. Done! Your farm has been created
How about deleting the farm/pond?

Follow these steps to delete a farm:

  1. On Home, select Farm settings
  2. On the Farm tab, select the red Delete farm button
  3. Enter the password to delete the farm then select Delete

If you want to delete the pond, do the following:

  1. On Home, select List pond
  2. Select the trash icon in the bottom-right corner of the pool information box
What data can be recorded?

Data that can be recorded in the JALA App includes:

  • Cultivation parameters (feed, anco, sampling, harvest, water quality, treatment, mortality, disease, laboratory test results, etc.)
  • Cultivation finance (expenditure, income, and fixed asset transactions)
  • Pond stock

If the user encounters a problem when using the JALA App, the user can report it to the JALA Team via email support@jala.tech

User role differences?

Differences in user roles will affect access to features in the application. Furthermore, there are 5 user roles and all of them have different functions. The five roles include:

  • Owner – has all access including modifying and removing other users' access
  • Admin – has access to cultivation, finance, and stock
  • Pond operators and staff – have access to culture data and reports only
  • Laborant – has access to cultivation data, particularly operations and water quality
  • Viewer – can only view cultivation data and analysis charts
How to add, delete, and modify users?

Follow these steps to add users:

  1. On Home, select farm settings
  2. Select the Granted Users tab
  3. Select Add Member
  4. Enter the account's email, description, and user role
  5. Select Invite

If you want to delete a user, you can follow these steps:

  1. On Home, select farm settings
  2. Select the Granted Users tab
  3. In the Role section, click the down arrow until you find the Delete option
  4. Select Delete then Ok

Meanwhile, to modify the user, you can follow these steps:

  1. On Home, select farm settings
  2. Select the Granted Users tab
  3. In the Role section, click the down arrow and select the desired role
  4. Select Ok
How to edit account or farm information?

Follow these steps to edit account information:

  1. Click the user icon in the upper right corner of the display
  2. Select Profile
  3. Under General information, select Edit
  4. Make changes as desired
  5. Select Save

Follow these steps to edit farm information:

  1. On Home, select Farm settings
  2. On the Farm tab, select Edit
  3. Make changes as desired
  4. Select Save
